    Detailed Information:
Since 1977 the doors of St. Francis Wildlife Association have been open to provide humane care for any type of injured bird or animal native to the United States, from the smallest song bird to threatened or endangered species such as eagles and bears.

In the last 25 years, over 35,000 animals have been rescued and rehabilitated. Humane care is provided for 3,000 animals each year. We operate a 24-hour hotline, 365 days a year. We provide specialized training for volunteers interested in rescuing and rehabilitating wildlife. Francis Wildlife actively participates in environmental education to promote a greater awareness and knowledge about our wildlife resources. Through our educational outreach programs we reach a substantial cross-section of our region's population. By increasing the public's understanding, appreciation, and respect for our environment and the wildlife in it, we hope to establish a more responsible long-term relationship with our natural wildlife resources.
